This is the over all write up of our bad experience with Bridgeport Hotel -- April 26-28, 2024 Part 1 --- We checked in @around 4pm and asked the front desk officer if there is a way we could have a late check out and she was kind enough to allow us to check out at 11 am. We asked if we could extend a bit more than that but she politely declined our request but we thought 11 am is still good. Check out day, we ate our breakfast and went to to the front desk to confirm our 11am check out time, and it was confirmed by the staff in a "not so pleasant" ( almost like does not want to talk to us) manner that it is 11am indeed. The hotel's pool was one of my daughter's favourite part of the hotel it is so beautiful that on our first day we sent photos of our hotel, the view the facilities, to our friends who are planning to visit Murray and was highly recommending Port Bridge, but the last day ruined it completely. On our last day we decided to take our last plunge and photos to the beautiful pool, and around 10:30 decided to go up and take a shower in our room and unfortunately got stuck in the elevator, we called using the call button, twice no response, and finally got an answer on our third attempt, imagine how much anxiety it created to me as claustrophobic, wet, with my daughter with me and a husband extremely anxious. We don't know whom we are talking to and we do not know what exactly happened,  we were instructed to push the B button and did get out and me shaking does not want to go to lift again and decided to  walk out of the parking lot in a cold weather with all of us  covered with wet towel and spoke to the front desk personnel. While shaking, I decided to ask the receptionist first "are you the one talking to us in the elevator" since I do not want to assume that she knows what's happening, she just said "no"

Comfortable, close to town

The B&b is exquisite in its eclectic decor. The place is easy to find, the bed was so comfy, the water was hot with good pressure in the outdoor shower and the breakfast was a delicious treat. Highly recommend and would stay again. There is a microwave, tea and coffee, a heater if needed (not needed on my stay as was so cosy) and eco home touches everywhere. It’s so quiet and relaxing, loved it. The family are so welcoming and the dog is the cutest.

Absolutely loved our stay ! Wake up to the most amazing views of wildlife ,fog , sunset ! Just loved the outdoor bath - early morning- late bathing … so so relaxing !
