Excellent breakfast. Food in main restaurant not to our taste. Would however prefer new potatoes & choice of fish and more than 1 vegetable.

Not as good as I thought it would be. Most of the restaurants are generic with low quality food. The exceptions are The Ship and Crown and another one a little further along whose name I have forgotten but which serves Michelin Star quality food. The bus service to the rest of the island is excellent and the drivers are like tourist guides. They are so friendly and helpful. Personally, buses are the best way to get around Guernsey. Bikes are OK, but definitely not car. Shops and cafes are a bit basic. The best thing about Guernsey by far is the south coast which should be discovered by taking the bus to the start (or halfway) and walking the rest of the way. Many of the secluded beaches and bays can only be reached by foot and one only has ladder access. Stunning scenery at every turn.

St Peter Port is lovely lively as long as you can cope with the steep slopes. Plenty of fish restaurants , we ate at Pier 17 and several smaller cafes . Lots of history to take in ,the local people are very friendly. An excellent bus service. The Millennium tapestry is fascinating and there is the castle too. We were lucky enough to be there for liberation day ,A public holiday with a parade through the town and a service of remembrance.... A colourful fun relaxed day with everyone enjoying a public holiday.

Plenty of small independent shops, interesting lanes and alleys. Constant activity in the extensive harbour. A range of eateries all along the esplanade with great views., picked a different ones night. Everything easily accessible on foot (if you don't mind hills and cobbles!).
Too much scaffolding and major building work: maybe finished by summer?

Nothing was too much trouble polite courteous staff.
Nothing was too much trouble polite courteous staff. Perfect in every way so much so I extended my stay over New Year. Unfortunately didn’t have a mobility room, wet room, but agreed for me to use the pool disabled facilities for which I was most grateful.
In fact the staff were so welcoming I felt like royalty.
The breakfast buffet was 1st class with so many options. I did have the full English breakfast one day only as the food wasn’t as hot as it should have been so ordered of the specials menu.
The staff were extremely kind to us after a long day travelling, even though we kept them waiting up quite late. Throughout our stay, they kept the balance of enquiring if we needed anything without it feeling intrusive.
The variety of cakes was impressive and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is really clean and well maintained, with amazing views of the other islands and immediate access to the pretty cliff walks.
St Martins is an easy 20 min walk, or St Peter Port about 50mins if you don't want to wait for a bus.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. I have a medical condition causing me to have a vegan/GF diet which was very well catered for. The hotel is not far from the main access to town although there is a bit of a hill to get to it. Beautiful gardens to sit in, lovely public seating areas. The rooms are varied and spread over 3 floors. Will definitely book the Pandora the next time we plan a trip to Guernsey.
There was a bus stop very close to the hotel. We could, therefore, easily hop onto a bus into to St Peter Port. There was loads of cupboard space in the room, with an iron and ironing board - very convenient. The hotel had a limited food menu and wine menu, but it was sufficient for the week that we spent at the hotel. Breakfast was always a treat with a great selection of food and juices to choose from.
This hotel was clean with fantastic staff. The room was cleaned daily and all areas of the hotel were immaculate. The location of the hotel is a 10 minute walk (on quite a steep hill) from St Peter Port. We enjoyed the walk daily. Car parking is also available outside the hotel. We stayed here during Island Games week and despite it being very busy, service was great. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was fabulous with lots of different choices all freshly prepared for you with quality ingredients. The setting of the hotel is beautiful with great views from some areas. Both the Rock Garden restaurant and Buho are very pleasant too, but there are lots of good restaurants in nearby St Peter Port too. We also loved that we never felt anywhere was too crowded, despite the hotel being busy.
The location was brilliant for my needs. I haven't anything negative to say, except I found it strange needing to call 0 to have milk brought up for tea and coffee. Milk is normally provided in most hotels alongside the sachets. I didn't want to put anyone out just for milk so didn't bother asking for it.
Plenty of room in the bedroom king size bed great view it was the premiere room in the hotel to dress in areas separate toilet separate bathroom with bath and shower double sink. Supplies slippers dressing gowns tea coffee water and sparkling water what more could you want.
The location if the hotel is exceptional with a view over the bay and the islands of Herm and Sark. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were good, with the extra bonus of cakes and desserts that are out of this world.
Brilliant place, absolutely wonderful. Staff were lovely. Room was clean, modern and comfortable, stocked with plenty of tea/coffee. Breakfast good value for money. One of the best hotels have stayed in.
Just about adequate for one night but greatly overpriced compared to three other hotels we stayed at during our 10 days on Guernsey and Sark. Breakfast was good and room was clean.
Loved the breakfast delivered in a basket. I hope they continue to offer this post Covid. This guest house is very conveniently located to St. Peter Port
