Peak season will definitely make this town more lively with more shops open. We came during early April, and the beaches are empty (which could be great if you prefer to keep the beach to yourself). The drive around the island is interesting as most roads are narrow with hills. Recommend to go with the full insurance option if it's not expensive as precocious. There are water taxi options to transport to another beaches, and I recommend that over driving if driving is not your forte, and you want to party.

One suggestion for improvement would be to seek recommendations from the property representatives for renting a motorbike, as this may lead to more cost-effective options compared to direct rental. One of the greatest assets you can benefit from is the shuttle, which is the best solution if you want to go to the town (or a beach) and come back. It is way cheaper than what taxis will ask for. Definitely a place I would go back to without having to think too much and totally recommend to other people!
