The room was lovely and big, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was wonderful (lots of calories though 😄). Surprisingly, the hotel itself (rooms & lounge) was very quiet although the restaurant and bar were always hectic with lots of happy people🍺. Great stay overall!

Host went out of her way, very friendly staff, beautiful room, very clean. We had to leave at 5am for a flight, they even did a take away breakfast for us with juice, bars, croissants, fruit. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone - wish we could have stayed longer.

From check in over the facilities of the bedroom, bathroom, its cleanliness, the enjoyable bar, the food in their restaurant, culinary surprises at breakfast... All personnel working for this hotel, along with the boss, seem to be trained to drown all customers into a warm bath of being completely spoiled. What surprised us even more was that post check-out, when we were on the way home, we were called by the hotel to let us know that our daughter forgot her teddy in the bed. It would have been an absolute disaster only discovering this when we would have been at home. This proves that even post check-out (and after all was paid for), we had the feeling of being taken care of. Just wonderful.

Aamiainen ja sijainti oli loistava. Naapurihuoneessa oli koira, mutta vaikka äänieristys oli huono niin meteliä ei ollut. Kylässä oli kiva lyhyt kävely rannalla Dunskeyn linnan raunioille. Aamupala taisi olla 7.30-9.30. Aamupalan sai vapaasti tilata listalta, vaihtoehtoja oli monia skotlantilaisesta aamupalasta kaurapuuroon. Illalla keittiö oli auki klo 21 asti. The room was great and comfortable. Breakfast was included. There was a restaurant as well as a bar. The staff could not have been more helpful. We had to stay an extra night which they had no problem accommodating us. There was a pool, steam room, sauna. Town was close and you could have even walked. There are trails and so much more.

They are not just saying it: they really put their guests first. Small example: the host at the restaurant came up to our hotel room on the busiest Saturday evening just to open our bottle because we were thirsty and wanted to have a last drink we bought somewhere else. Just wow! The nicest BnB I've stayed in. From the minute we were welcomed at the door we felt like honoured guests. Graham showed us the beautiful rooms, all so large and airy and all individually decorated with Karen's eye for colour and style. Karen is also a talented cook. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and beautifully presented. The guest lounge is a lovely place to chat to fellow guests and the gardens are lovely. The couple grow some of their own fruit and veg. It was lovely to wander around. In the morning Graham had printed out a detailed map of a scenic route to our next destination. Great waterfalls...thanks Graham.

This is the perfect location for a romantic weekend getaway! Location is beautiful, the lodges are so cute and right on the water, each with private hot tubs! We walked around the premises, rented electric bikes and did a 30km route that starts right on the property, so convenient. They bring you breakfast to your door every morning in this little basket.
