This place is sheer heaven, the most boutique of all the places we ever stayed in. You think you are on a remote Mediterranean island! Every corner is worth a postcard: the flowers, the plants, the balconies … It’s an interior architect’s dream. Staff is very welcoming and helpful and the restaurant excellent. You may not want to leave!
This charming hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town and within walking distance to the harbour. There are wonderful views of the sea and the islands from the hotel's terrace.

A unique combination of the beautiful Turkish sea and unparalleled food options. For a town with a resident population of about 3,000 it has over 350 restaurants and bars, with many reaching a very high standard of cuisine. The roof terrace restaurants are superb and a repeatable experience. The beach club options cater for all tastes. There are plenty of things to do from boat trips to visits to the local heritage sites and a large variety of shopping. Locals are very welcoming.

Kalkan is a beautiful place but having been a few times I wont rush to go back. Nothing to do with the wonderful setting but more to do with the ridiculous noise coming from a few of the bars at night. Don't get me wrong if you are young and into bars where you need sign language to talk this could be the place for you. But later at night I like to chill but no matter where you went in town all you could hear was the noise battle between 2 bars cranked to volume 11 which drowned every bar near by. So not for me, day time yes but night time Not a chance.

We have been to the Mediterran Hotel three times now, so clearly we love it and would recommend it to anyone. Generally, I would say it’s a couples and groups hotel, not much for kids. It’s a fair way out of the main town which is nice, but for a couple of quid you can get a taxi into the centre or the port. The taxis are plentiful and you never have to wait more than a few minutes for one. The people are all very friendly and not too pushy when trying to get you to enter their restaurants. There are plenty of shops, where you can buy amazing fake clothing, most of which is of a reasonable quality, excellent, if you take into account you can by labelled trainers for £15-20! There are plenty of food and grocery shops if you are self-catering. In addition to having stayed at the Mediteran we have rent villas in Kalkan for family holidays. There is also a good market with food and clothing. Kalkan has provided us with many great holidays.

Kalkan was was a really nice resort.
Kalkan was was a really nice resort. Plenty to do but not too busy. There were plenty of great places to eat and the old town with its narrow cobbled streets were lovely to walk around. A visit to Seaport restaurant is a must, great food, great staff and great location.

A really beautiful area with stunning views and very kind people! The city center itself was a little too busy for us but, we went to a lot of great areas just around the city in Kaş, Fethiye etc. - very practical to rent a car to get around !

Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere.
Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere. Fantastic food didn’t have one bad meal in two weeks. Warm, friendly people. Great for all ages, couples and families. Very hilly in places even in the town so be mindful if walking issues.
Excellent location - the property is on the waterfront in the centre of Kalkan. There is a beach just below. Plenty of restaurants within a five minute walk.
Very clean and well fitted out room.
Lovely pool and bar area - the drinks served up were of a very high quality.
Traditional Turkish breakfast included.
There is a nice cafe located on the ground floor of the building, which is ideal for a coffee or lunch during the day.
Staff were very responsive to requests. They managed to be always available without lingering.
We stayed in this family-run hotel for two weeks and enjoyed every single moment. Loved the welcome fruit plate and wine! Our balcony had sea view, which offered beautiful sights of Kalamar bay. The area ia peaceful, not so steep immediate surroundings compared to the rest of Kalkan. The hotel offers privacy, but also some shared areas like the pool. There's parking place in front of the hotel. Great breakfast, excellent cleaning service daily. The owners are very friendly and professional. We do hope to come back soon.
Nice, clean place for a family holiday, away from the hustle and bustle. A little far from the city, but the owner of the villa can take you to the city and back like a taxi. There is nothing near the villa, but you will remain hungry - there is a supermarket nearby (you can walk there), and upstairs the owner of the villa has a Turkish cafe where they cook delicious food. I especially recommend trying the delicious, homemade green olives - we couldn’t resist and bought 5 liters.
Recommend this place.
We had a wonderful stay at the Sultan Hotel in Kalkan! One of the standout features was its stunning location overlooking both the city and the sea, offering a breathtaking view. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very accommodating. The delicious breakfasts were a delightful start to each day. The hotel owner, Sertaç, was exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay
This is one of the very best pansiyon/hotel experiences I've had. Everything was top-notch. Selma and her co-workers are both very friendly and professional. I highly recommend you stay for dinner too as their cooking is better than any other restaurant in Kalkan. We will book here again if we ever return to Kalkan.
We are a big group of friends staying in the same hotel, we like the hotel architecture, all rooms have a sea and mountain view with a big balcony. The hotel feels spacious and breezy which is important during this pandemic. The room and the bathroom were very clean, the bed is so big and comfy to sleep in.
We really enjoyed this place-perfect view! As the town’s beach is uninspiring, this beach club is a real jam-the terraces nested on the rocks provide a perfect refuge from the sun, and the sea is just a jump away! Postcard perfect views. Perhaps a bit of a walk to the city, but we had a car.
I can not find the right words to describe this hotel . It is expectational hotel and it is very unique. You live dream in this hotel . The room and the staff . Every part of this hotel tells a story . I am speechless . we enjoyed every moment in this hotel . it was hard for us to leave .
wonderfull location, beautiful new furnished rooms, enjoyed jakuzzi very much, free boat transfer from hotel to kalkan harbour, there sun loungers at balcony which was a great surprise. if you like turkish brekafast its a heaven, they also supply english breakfast with no extra charge
Small cosy hotel in the old town very close to the waterfront. Just 4 rooms with cute balconies overlooking the charming side streets. Breakfast, cooked to order on the stunning roof terrace was the highlight. This family run hotel is very friendly and accommodating.
This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It truly is boutique with some special touches when you arrive, and incredible staff. Beautiful spacious room, with a gorgeous view of the ocean below and an incredible breakfast selection.
It was really nice experience and good value for money! Hospitable and friendly owners, delicious breakfast that also included Turkish cuisine, Kalkan Public Beach just 5 minutes away. So, the hotel is a good place for staying for 2-3 nights.
Great value for money, location is ideal on the beach and away from busy town but just a short drive or boat trip into town. The staff were excellent, helping us in any way needed. The room was clean and tidy. We had a great stay.
First of all, the view is amazing. You feel like the sea is under your feet. the hotel is very clean and tidy. Hotel staff are very helpful and caring. One more reason to come to Kalkan...
The hotel is in an ideal location with a view of Kalkan harbour and bay. It was clean and offered a good size pool. The room was a fair size but had expected larger for a superior room.
