It is a very quiet, nice hotel, where you can relax to your heart's content. You can spend time on a sunbeds at the beach, at the pool or at the beach bar. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the warmth with which the staff always greets you. The food is delicious and the prices seem fair to me in terms of quality - price

We recently stayed at this hotel, the experience was absolutely remarkable. The view of the ocean from our room was simply breathtaking. The food variety here surpassed my expectations compared to other hotels in Zanzibar, we took breakfast and dinner included, during the day we were eating at excursions or in the restaurat of the hotel which was nice. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help.
My boyfriend proposed to me here, and it was amazing! The manager and half of the staff helped make it super special. The team's support and effort made the moment magical. The setting was beautiful, and everyone was so excited and helpful. Big thanks to the manager for making our engagement day so memorable. If you want a place with a staff that goes the extra mile, this hotel is perfect. We'll always remember our special moment here! Highly recommend it to others!

Its Amazing.. i enjoyed my time there. Very warm welcome from the reception Pascal and the manager David who making sure everything is fine. Wifi is very fast and its everywhere. Food and Staff are the best. Clean and quiet. Only the beach area, everytime i try to spend time on the umbrella bed there was always beach boys come to me which make my self cant enjoy my time. Also the bed its a bit too hard for me. Was expecting more soft and fluffy with thick blanket. My driver Aliy is the best driver. Overall its amazing, i will definitely come back.

Not much to do around the resort as it is far away from most main attractions however the resort is quite and very large with plenty of sports facilities such as a tennis court, game rooms, pools etc. they also offer night entertainment that I felt could be improved. a number of restaurant to choose from and special pool and beach dinner nights were exceptional and very fun.

Perfect sunshine (if you are travelling from North Europe or Canada). Tourists are usually pestered in the beach areas (to be sold something). There is significant seaweed farming, so it is unfornatley a pleasant beach and ocean made deeply unpleasant by humans.

The village is tourist friendly even though I blend in quite well. We managed to walk a lot within the village as well as on the beach. There’s a number of grocery shops and one grocery store that takes cards with a 5% charge. The smaller hotels don’t take card so you’d need to carry cash.
Found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere without loud music, just avoid the masai if you didn’t come shopping or speak to them and support their local business 😅. They’ll surely try to sell you something.
Would have stayed longer if I didn’t need to get back to work the beach is endless especially in the mornings when the tide is out. Loved that there were options; surfing, kites, horse riding, snorkeling, amongst other activities.

Wonderful hotel with most friendly and attentive staff.
Superb breakfast and dinner with great variety and high quality food.
Excellent live band and amazing variety shows for guests at dinner.
Soft fine sandy beach and plenty to explore on the reef during low tide.
Spacious restaurant with excellent fresh fruit juices counter and live cooking stations.
Very well maintained garden and beautiful landscape all around the hotel grounds.
The Mambo Cabana Hotel offers a wonderful experience for a relaxing vacation. My room was spacious and beautiful, offering all the necessary comforts for rest. The food served was delicious with a variety of options that satisfied my taste buds. A big advantage is the location of the hotel, just 1 minute from the beach, which made access to the sea extremely convenient. Mambo Cabana is certainly an excellent choice for a holiday getaway.
I stayed in a room that is actually located on the beach :). The bathroom is very clean, the room very nice and spacious. The restaurant is wonderful from the delicious food, the fresh fruit juice to the traditional masks that actually make you feel the African spirit. We only used the front pool which was cleaned beforehand in the morning. The staff is very smiling and friendly, as are all the nice people in Zanzibar
Th staff was amazing, Zakaria, rachid, joice and Naima! The owners are so nice and welcoming, Dida and Mauro. Thank you all!!!
The place is calm and relaxing..i love the swinging beds by the beach, my favorite part!!
Then after chilling and relaxing you can book Excurstions with Mario, blue safari, Mnemba...good prices and fun activities !!
Definitely recommending this address to friends and family !
The hotel is beautiful and cozy. Few rooms so it feels like family. The owner Mariola was super kind and helpful, the staff was also super kind. It's not on the beach, so it is very quiet, and the beach is only 2 minutes away. The village is also very close.
There's a little dog and a little monkey, both very friendly (I already miss them!).
We had a great time, and I would definitely come back again!
The resort staff in general were very friendly. The coconut stand bars. The rooms were spacious and comfy.
Best for last; THE BEACH! With the tide varying during the time of the day, you sense that feel of transportation, experiencing different amazing sceneries and the best one yet was the mini island that just pops in front of you whenever the tide was low.
This hotel was a really nice surprise. Big, modern and new resort located right on the beach. The food and the drinks are super good at the hotel. Therefore, I recommend to go for the all-inclusive option. The outdoor restaurant located close to the beach with a sea view is amazing. The rooms are big and modern. Would like to come back!
The place is simply outstanding due to the facilities, the personnel, the bar, the food, basically everything if you are looking for a very relaxed time in Zanzibar. It is very beautiful and peaceful as it is in the pictures as well as safe. Highly recommended for a chilled trip, and it was an extremely positive experience to us.
The place is very quiet and feels homey quickly thanks to the super nice and attentive staff. Food is good and the chef considers dietary considerations in personalised meals. Perfect spot to observe sea weed farming, long walks on the beach and great, local food in the 2-3 restaurants in the village behind the beach.
The personal was friendly and nice to talk to. Especielly Aisha who was the manager in the hotel. It is next to the beach but you can not swim so much because of the tide. The landscabe on the beach changes during the day.
The staff was very friendly. Quite resort. They had an elevated beach and when the tide receded you could walk out on a guided tour...watch for the Maassai...they seem friendly and then try to have you give them money.
The rooms and overall property is new, very neat and clean. I liked the design. The nightly activities like dancing and live music was excellent. The beach was very close and very nice.
The hotel resort was beautiful, located directly adjacent to a white sandy beach and had all of the facilities one could hope for. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly.
